Job Description
The trainee will be responsible for configuring Linux and Windows Server systems for Oracle Installations. Installing and maintaining Oracle and MySQL databases including security patching and upgrading, backup and restore, and maintaining database performance and availability.
Job Requirements
: Linux and windows operating system experience. Software installation experience. Oracle and/or MySQL experience preferred. Due to the critical nature of USGS databases, conscienceness, maturity, reliability, and decision making skills are needed for this position.
