Job Description
Job Summary: Sells and serves food and beverages to guests. Duties and Responsibilities: Sells and serves food and drinks to guests. Checks IDs of all guests consuming alcohol beverages who appear to be 30 years of age and younger. Places wristbands on guests of legal drinking age and ensures alcohol is being served responsibly. Keeps scoring, concourse, bar, and high top tables clean and returns empty glassware to the appropriate area (main bar or satellite bar). Discards trash into receptacles. Keeps work station clean and organized. Greets guests and bowlers within 2 minutes of their arrival to the lanes or table. Provides friendly, courteous, polite and helpful guest service. Takes drink and food orders, runs tab or collects money and returns change to guest. Lifts and carries heavy trays of food and beverages. Assists bartenders in stocking of beer, liquor, ice, and glassware when necessary. Assists customers with automatic scorers where applicable. Notifies management of any safety, scoring, pinsetter, or mechanical issues. Informs counter control employees when lanes become available for open play (lane server).
Job Requirements
Prior waiter/waitress experience preferred. Serving Alcohol Responsibly training and T.I.P.S. certification are preferred, but this training can also be delivered while in the job. Must meet state age requirements for serving alcohol and possess any local alcohol serving requirements. 10th grade high school education.
